CATECHESIS. COURSE.
The Catechetical Institute at Franciscan University exists to train and support the key catechists in any situation—priests, deacons, parents, or laity, whether professional or volunteer. Through conferences, online workshops, videos, audio, personal mentorship, and a wealth of resources produced by Franciscan University, students will find new ideas, new approaches, new techniques, and a new confidence to do the work of catechesis. The Institute's offerings are laid out into 16 tracks: Ministry of Parenting, Catechist, Parish Catechetical Leader, Catechumenal Ministry (RCIA), Pastoral Accompaniment, Culture of Life, Four Pillars of the Catechism, Forming Faith at Home, Eucharistic Renewal, Youth Ministry, Young Adults, First Proclamation, Priestly Renewal, Catholic Schools, Campus Ministry, and Music Ministry. Individuals can subscribe for a small monthly fee to access a library of workshops. Alternatively, parishes can subscribe for a yearly fee to all any individual in their parish to take an unlimited number of workshops.
