Cursillo (Spanish for ‘short course’) is a Catholic movement dedicated to spreading the Word of God and helping people form a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. The Cursillo Movement is active right across the globe and in different Christian denominations.

Cursillo employs a method that emphasises the importance of a balanced life of prayer, continued spiritual study, and action over the course of a weekend.

The Cursillo Weekend, a 3-day residential course beginning with a retreat, followed by a series of talks given by lay people and spiritual directors, which are then discussed together in small groups. Holy Mass is celebrated daily, with opportunities for reconciliation, times of adoration, prayer and meditations.
